Nomination
University of Queensland
2012
“The constant enthusiasm for the subject that is brought to each class mixed with a fun and engaging teaching style which encourages active student participation and stimulates the desire to learn is why I choose to nominate Lilian.” (PORT1010, nov.2012)
Middlebury College
2008
“As an instructor of Portuguese and Brazilian language, Ms. Fleuri did an excellent job. Students have rewarded her with excellent evaluation. In PORT102 course, 100% of students gave her the maximum grade in her evaluations—a very unusual occurrences and a great accomplishment in an institution like Middlebury College. In their evaluation, students commented very favorably on the imaginative ways that Ms. Fleuri has of teaching the language and culture. They also like very much the interest and passion that Ms. Fleuri puts into her classes. Overall, Ms. Fleuri’s evaluations clearly indicate that she is a superb instructor of language and culture.”
(PORT102 -Dr. Patricia Saldarriaga, Chair of the Department of Spanish and Portuguese)
